About Evangelist/Pastor Rusty Ward

Rev. Rusty Ward has devoted over 29 years to ministry, serving as both an interim and lead pastor from 2000 to 2018. His leadership extends beyond the pulpit, having served as the Royal Rangers Deputy District Commander for the Appalachian Ministry Network, as well as Assistant Section Presbyter for the Two Virginia Section of the Appalachian Ministry Network—where he faithfully visited and supported churches for four years.

An ordained minister with the General Council of the Assemblies of God, Rev. Ward completed his studies at Global University in October 2003. From 2003 to 2018, he led Bethel Assembly of God as its Lead Pastor, guiding the fellowship on an incredible journey of faith and growth.

Currently, he serves with Network-211 as a One-to-One Connector, responding to hundreds of emails from individuals worldwide. Through the power of modern technology, Network-211 communicates the 1st-century Gospel in a 21st-century world—helping people discover and deepen their walk with God.

Rev. Ward has an undeniable heart for people and a passionate desire to see lives saved, transformed, healed, and set free for the Kingdom of God. His vision is centered on cultivating strong relationships with the Lord, encouraging believers to experience His miraculous power in their hearts and lives. He believes this connection is strengthened through praise, worship, and the teaching of God's Word—constantly challenging others to step out in faith and allow God to work in them.
