About Reverend Rusty Ward

With more than 33 years of dedicated ministry experience, Reverend Rusty Ward has impacted countless lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His ministry journey began in 1993 as a Royal Rangers leader, where he faithfully served young men and developed leadership skills that would shape his future ministry. His commitment to the Royal Rangers ministry led him to several leadership positions within the Appalachian Ministry Network, including serving as Deputy District Commander.

Responding to God's call to pastoral ministry, Reverend Ward served in both interim and lead pastoral roles from 1999 to 2018. During this time, he also demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting fellow ministers and local churches by serving as Secretary and Assistant Section Presbyter for the Two Virginia Section of the Assemblies of God. In these roles, he faithfully visited churches, encouraged pastors, and assisted with ministry development throughout the section for four years.

An ordained minister with the General Council of the Assemblies of God, Reverend Ward completed his ministerial studies through Global University in October 2003. From 2003 until 2018, he served as Lead Pastor of Bethel Assembly of God, leading the congregation through years of spiritual growth, discipleship, and community outreach.

Following his transition from Bethel Assembly of God in 2018, Reverend Rusty's passion for ministry remained as strong as ever. In 2020, he launched an online church ministry dedicated to helping people connect with God's Word and grow in their faith regardless of location. Through online services, biblical teaching, and spiritual encouragement, he continues to reach individuals around the world. In addition to his online church ministry, Reverend Ward expanded his outreach through Facebook, where he regularly shares Sunday sermons and Wednesday devotionals. In the summer of 2026, he further broadened his ministry efforts by launching a television broadcast ministry, extending the message of hope and salvation to an even larger audience. He is also the author of a 60-Day Devotional, available through this website, designed to encourage believers in their daily walk with Christ.
